Here to Help Guide the Adventure of Your Career.
Odyssey People Partners was founded on a simple truth: Behind every successful organisation are the individuals who build it.
Yet many companies struggle to find the right talent, develop strong leaders, or build systems that allow their teams to thrive. Too often, these challenges are addressed in isolation, recruitment here, coaching there, consulting somewhere else.
Odyssey was built to bring those pieces together.
Through recruitment, people consulting, and leadership coaching, we help organisations design the structures that support their teams and help individuals unlock their potential.
We believe companies grow the same way careers do, one thoughtful step at a time.
Built on Partnership.
Odyssey is built around partnership, not transactions. We work closely with leaders and teams to understand their challenges, their ambitions, and the kind of organisation they want to build.
Here’s some more about the founder, and we will be adding more about the people helping guide those journeys.
Dan Wales
FounderEvery great company has a 1 of 1 advantage, something they do better than anyone else.
In my experience, that advantage is almost always built by the people inside the organisation. That belief sits at the foundation of Odyssey People Partners and the work I do with founders and leadership teams who are building companies that want to win.
Through Odyssey, I partner with organisations to build leadership teams, strengthen departments, and create the people structures that allow businesses to scale. From recruiting key leaders to helping organisations develop stronger teams and cultures, the focus is always the same: aligning the right people to the right strategy.
Alongside this work, I founded The Honest Conversations Project, the charitable arm of Odyssey. Through it, we dedicate 1% of company revenue to causes and community initiatives that reflect the values of our team.
My career has spanned sales, HR, internal recruitment, and agency search. That experience has given me a practical understanding of how companies actually grow, not just on paper, but through the people responsible for delivering results every day.
Outside of work, life revolves around family and the outdoors. Golf, bikes, snow, and endurance sport keep me busy, usually with an over-energised husky not far behind. Before moving to Canada, I represented Wales in track and field and rugby at an elite level, an experience that continues to shape how I think about discipline, competition, and performance in both business and life.
If you’re building a company and believe people are the competitive advantage, let’s connect.
